#LoveWriteCreate is a hashtag that my PLOFFEE/PLUNCH (a.k.a. plots & coffee, sometimes into lunch) group came up with to give tips, encourage, and inspire each other on Twitter. Gaby Robbins, Morgan Wylie, and myself have all benefitted socially and professionally from our get-togethers. We all came to the conclusion that sharing our experiences, both good and bad, would be helpful to other authors that might be feeling alone in the daunting process of writing a book and seeing it through to publication.
Obviously, we all have something to offer. Morgan recently self-published her first YA novel, Silent Orchids. Gaby is currently writing her first manuscript, and I am in the process of editing and hope to query agents soon. We will only use the hashtag when interacting with each other, in reference to what we are tackling. It could be anything about writing, social media, reviews, hot literary topics, or new novels we’re reading that we tweet about. The best part of this hashtag trend is that you can share too, so jump in and join the conversation!

Fantasizing Conspiracy with Feeling… Over time my love for learning gravitated toward studying conspiracy theories and contradictions in our culture. My conclusions have ignited a passion to write compelling young adult fiction that incorporates legend, conjecture, fantasy, and conviction.
I am a Jesus loving, wife, mother, friend, writer, and teacher. I began teaching high school English in 2002 and started blogging and podcasting in 2008. I have a brilliant husband, two redheads, and never imagined my life would be this fun!
